Here are some photos from Louise’s sisters wedding. We were off duty but managed to take some shots between running after the kids.
Leona and Tom got married at Shropshire Lavender, and beautiful spot just by Newport in Shropshire. The two of them set themselves a mamouth task. Plan and wedding in 3 months. Seems achievable, in fact Louise’s other sister did it very easily in the gorgeous Clearwell Castle. Leona and Tom, made things a little more tricky by picking a venue that has never held a wedding there before. This meant all the logistics had to be arranged by Leona and Tom, from arranging toilets, electricity, yurts, caterers, florists, a bar, a celebrant the list goes. On top of all that, as it was an outside ceremony, this all was wagered against having dry weather, very risky, very mad but it all came together beautifully.
I think it would be fair to say, this wedding couldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for Leona and Toms organising, and help from family and friends. One aunty alone was responsible for almost all the flower arranging, the cake was made by Toms sister, the flower girls dresses and page boys suit were made by the mother of the groom. The amazing arch was made by father of the bride and Aunty Gale. Not forgetting an army of friends and family helping to set up. All these people helping, shows how much we care for these two nutters.
Here are some images, as we were looking after two children at the time, these are pretty much all the photos we took, there was a fantastic photographer there, so we didn’t want to get in her way, also we were busy enjoying ourselves.
PS stay posted we have two more weddings being added to the blog in the next few days. One in Lichfield Catheral and one in Digbeth, worlds apart!! 🙂
