Last month I was back in Manchester to photograph the wedding of Angela and David and what a fantastic couple, so friendly and welcoming.
We’ve known Angela for some time now, as her Sister Diane, is good friends of ours ever since we met at Uni in Manchester.
It’s always great to photograph a wedding with familiar faces.
Angela hired us as she wanted documentary wedding photography, with just a handful of posed formal shots.
I met Angela and her bridal party at the Ramada Hotel in the city centre. We’ve photographed a couple of brides getting ready there before so know it well.
It’s a first time for us to photograph a wedding at The Whitworth Council Chambers, in Manchester University, but wow!! What a fantastic venue. Full of character and an amazing stainless window.
Both Angela and her sister are expecting later this summer, we resisted all temptation and didn’t do the bumps photo. 🙂
It was great fun to shoot this wedding, the couple looked like they enjoyed every minute of it. The guests were friendly and welcoming and as always felt more like a guest than hired help!… I say more like a guest, well a guest with a camera and a massive responsibility ahead, but one I relished.
All the best for the birth of your first child, exciting and sleepless times ahead!
And thank you to Diane, she should be working on commission the amount of brides she has sent our way is untrue. Big thanks Di.
